Now that you’re an expert at living without lights, elevators, running water, refrigeration, and flushing toilets, please join your neighbors for a cooperative meeting to:

  • Share tips and tricks for living through a blackout
  • Give kudos to neighbors who really made a difference
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Help draft an emergency checklist so that we are all better prepared for the next 100-year flood

  1. This experiece of no power has not been the 1st time. We needs emergency lighting in the stairwells. Also, hand rails onn each wall which end at the bottom step with one to go around the wall connecting each floor. This is useful both in the dark facilitating the safety of folks who have difficulty feeling and seeing the last step, preventing them from assuming that the end of the handrail is the last step and falling 2 steps which is where the current raili ends.
