Earlier today, repair crews came to fix the sidewalks on Madison Street right outside the coop. Bikes attached to the street posts there had their locks cut and were loaded into a white East River pick-up truck.

We need real bike racks in front of all the buildings and a reassessment of the bike rooms. Are there abandoned bikes in the bike room. Maybe some people would like to give up their spot in the bike room. I think the bike rooms should be used by active bikers not as storage space for un-used bikes.
I agree and support this opinion.
